What are the best LiteSpeed/OpenLiteSpeed web hosting services?

After managing my own server on DO-Vultr-Linode for a year, I’m finally FED UP and want to move to a managed VPS solution.
So far I’ve encountered hosts that only provide support till the VPS level but not on other issues. For eg, I changed the location of the root directory and my site crashed. After hours of head-scratching, I edited the config.php to bring the site back. Similarly, there are more oopsie moments or technical issues I face that I simply cannot afford to spend my time on anymore.

I’m looking for full tech support, not just for server-level 🙂 setting up an optimized server is not a big deal for me on a bare VPS on DO-Vultr-Linode. The problems come later on

I don’t need a control panel. I need fully managed vps that provides tech support. Gridpane I’ve tried, their support is good, but unfortunately they don’t have LS web stack.

I don’t want to handle sys-admins. I’m looking for a Managed VPS solution (that runs on LiteSpeed/OpenLiteSpeed web stack **Very Important**) that will provide me support for the technical issues I face.
Anyone knows any host like this?
Thanks!

Cloudways (without server root access) RunCloud, Moss.sh and ServerPilot (with root access to server)
Majority of the managed VPS hosts will provide you server level support. In case you mess up things at server level, you must know how to use snapshot feature and restore the server back to its previous state.
I do exactly that, help developers with sys-admin. I work closely with a few developers, to ease their pain 🙂 I have good references and quite a portfolio.
Try GridPane if ur need wordpress focused control panel they on cloud and if ur own budget then try @runcloud PS. I use runcloud for my company cuz i dont need highly dedicated team to guide me on every step. Both are industry standard u will love them.
yeah cuz there owner said Litespeed don’t have proper docs hence its tough to focus on litespeed. Well like you I was Litespeed Fan but then Nginx FAST CGI was an eye opener. I transferred my site from cyberpanel to runcloud and boom speed boost and better UI and support. Litespeed needs more time to be a mature server. Try Nginx FAST CGI u won’t regret for sure 🙂. Especially when in business I can’t put my client sites on a server which is growing. We need stable well documented server. And there is reason why Top sites are still on Nginx.
You can use Plesk with WordPress Toolkit on DO/Vultr/Linode which automates most sysadmin work and makes it easy for you to run performant websites. Especially WordPress Toolkit takes care of your WP updates with AI.
But if you want a completely managed solution, then choose a Managed WordPress hoster who manages your VPS for you. There are plenty of them depending on your country.
Gridpane using Vultr, Amazon and more. You can’t wrong. I highly recommend it
Planethoster offers everything you want.
Completely managed, Tech support, LS server & LS Cache.
I only use their shared hosting, but I’ve heard great things about their dedicated cloud hosting.
Look at Closte too, managed hosting on Google platform and Litespeed webserver. Solid performance, but support might be rude and slow to respond.
Heya, I offer fully managed hosting on both LEMP/LAMP and LS stacks. Feel free to message me and we can talk about your requirements.
Where are you located. A2 hosting have vps litespeed. Basically most vps can run litespeed. Just buy a license and install. If you have whm access, you can do it inside the cpanel.
I just want to say that there’s nothing wrong with looking for a managed provider as the level of support will definitely make a big difference when compared to all the (slightly overglorifird) custom control panels. Now don’t get me wrong, there are some users who are suited to those “platforms” but if you are someone who needs proper support, they will generally just push you away if there’s nothing wrong with their software.
There are definitely quite a few good hosts offering Managed VPS with LiteSpeed Web Server at least as an option (some include it while others charge for it).
Take a look at KnowHost, HawkHost, MDDHosting and NoFrillsCloud. They all have solutions that should work for you but KnowHost stands out as the one specializing in Managed VPS.
LiquidWeb offers Litespeed on dedicated.

I don’t know about their VPS offering but you could check with them. However, their dedicated prices may be in line with other’s VPS.
A2 has decent managed Litespeed VPS. Ive been with them for 2 years now. I run my main business on it.

I can offer management at a monthly fixed rate, speaking from a personal level here, it can quickly become a huge pain in the ass to consistently manage a server and run a business at once, however its something I do daily, maybe you’d be interested in my services, alternatively you can rent fully managed VPS from other companies but the price is through the roof (£180+!) Being a free-lancer I can accommodate you for a much lower price.
I think you were looking at the wrong places.
I do think any decent Managed VPS provider, based on cPanel and DirectAdmin would be happy to provide support with minor website issues like the one you mentioned about root directory changes.
Have you tried any of the providers that offer Managed VPS with DirectAdmin/cPanel? if you please checkout, Best WordPress hosting Reddit list.
You won’t get full fledged web dev support from a web hosting company. For example, if your website is slow, and you need to optimize it, a hosting provider won’t do that for you. But if you are getting errors, a hosting provider can tell you what is causing the error – it could be a plugin or a script. You will need to fix the plugin or script.
If this works for you, any decent Managed VPS provider should be sufficient. I mentioned cPanel/DirectAdmin based providers.
Those providers have chosen these control panels because they are easier to use. In other words they focus on helping clients who need more hand holding.
The providers you mentioned seems to be more focused on system admins. The level of support is going to differ between these two types of providers.
