Is there a comparison of the different Cloudways Hosting services? Is it splitting hairs between digitalocean, Vultr, and VultrHF ?

I looked at vultr hf issue for me was that I wanted the server to be in London, but the server spec I wanted wasn’t available in London. So went for digitalocean and haven’t looked back. Yes HF on spec does look amazing but all depends where you want it hosted.

Depends on the budget too. I choose digitalocean for affordability and it is the best at the price point. I ran a GTMetrix test on default WordPress installation on vultr hf and total page load was 1s( against 0.6s for digitalocean). I tried it because of the hype around vultr hf and also because it is also affordable (just $3/mo) more than digitalocean. But I will stick with digitalocean .

Depends on what your site is doing and what resources you need. In my experience Vultr, digitalocean, and Linode are pretty similar in terms of performance assuming its not overloaded and all of that. The buck or two difference doesn’t sway me one one way or the other so look at the resources in each package to meet your needs but moreover look at the uptime and reliability for the datacenter you’re looking to use because one of those providers has had some issues lately.
It seems that of those three there are some fan favorites but it varies by person and the guys I’d consider experts all have a reason for picking one over the other that doesn’t invalidate the other experts choice. We have servers at all three.
As for VultrHF…. Maybe? Again it’s a few bucks so that doesn’t move me towards it or away from it. We have it for one woocommerce site and it seems to help but for the average site it might be overkill. I’ve seen benchmarks saying it’s the greatest thing since sliced bread and saying it’s not worth the extra money, so your mileage may vary.
