You’ve been asking for a better way to organize your sites in Local and now you can! Local’s newest release grants you the ability to star ⭐️ a Local site, which will keep it at the top of your site list.

Would you rather see your sites in the order you’ve created them? Simply click on the clock 🕘 icon and the sites you most recently started in Local will move to the top, so you can jump right back into your most important work quickly and easily!

⚡️ The Local wordpress dev team focused on making wordpress Local’s UI more responsive and faster than ever before. Thank you to our users who brought performance issues to our attention. We hope you benefit from these improvements!

🙌 Thanks to this feature request, we’ve implemented the WordPress Core WP_ENVIRONMENT_TYPE constant so that developers can use the wp_get_environment_type() for functionality meant only for Local sites. See this helpful doc to learn more about getting started.

⚠️ Local will now warn users about a compatibility issue between Localhost routing and multisite subdomains due to their inherent incompatibility.

🐛 Bug fix: We addressed a bug where the SSL certificate was not being generated for subdomains.

🔑 You can now log in to Local Hub with Google SSO! When authenticating with Local Hub, Local will now be brought to the foreground during the last step.

🐜 Bug fix: We fixed an issue where Local would not persist the site selection when the user navigated to another screen, such as preferences.
